How to Lose Weight in Two Days Easily

Losing weight in two days can be done, however most of the weight you will lose will be water rather than fat and will reappear once you are properly hydrated. In some cases, you may even lose lean tissue, which means that you will have less muscle mass and a slower metabolism. Still, if there is a special event you are hoping to look good for, you can lose quite a few pounds in two days.

    Begin your day with a cardio workout to burn stored fat. Cardio will also jump-start your metabolism so you will begin burning calories even before breakfast. If you have energy, choose to do a short interval workout. This will involve short bursts of intense exercise such as one minute of sprints, followed by recovery exercises such as one minute of walking. Interval training burns more calories over a short period of time and your body will continue to burn calories for 24 hours after your workout. If you do not have enough energy for interval training, do at least 60 minutes of moderate-intensity cardio.

    Do a short food cleanse by eliminating all sugars and starches such as pasta, bread or soda. Choose raw fruits, vegetables, juices or broths along with multi-vitamins to keep you from feeling hungry and provide you with essential nutrients and minerals.

    Drink water and green tea throughout the day. Drinking water will help you flush out toxins. It will also dilute the sodium in your blood and prevent water retention. Green tea has compounds called catechins, which are believed to increase your metabolism.

    Do an additional one to two workouts throughout your day, focusing solely on cardio. Try to keep the exercises at a moderate intensity, although you may find it difficult to exercise if you are only eating minimal calories.

    Take a sauna. This will help you sweat out toxins. The excess sweating will also result in weight loss but this will be temporary. Make sure that you drink water before, during and after your sauna session to avoid dehydration.
