Carrabba's Italian Grill

Restraunters Damien Mandola and Johnny Carrabba opened the Carrabba's Italian Grill line of restaurants with one objective in mind: to make good food reminiscent of the comfort food created by their collective mothers and grandmothers. Their menu is full of traditional Sicilian and Italian dishes. There is a warm atmosphere with intimate lighting and a rich color palette in greens and maroons. The gluten-free menu contains at least several items from each section of the main menu, including soup, salad, chicken, seafood, beef and dessert. There is a full bar and a moderate wine list.

It's Only Natural

It's Only Natural, which is referred to by locals as ION, has been declared the premier vegetarian restaurant in the area since 1992 by the Hartford Advocate. The restaurant is also an art gallery, displaying local art that can be enjoyed while dining. The menu is almost entirely vegan, with many options being gluten free and special requests are always welcome. There is a small selection of organic wine and beer.
